I can probably show you 5 or 6 different versions of the bolts, and I agree that 
none of them make any functional difference.

What I have been told is that there are several differences:

They have dual bleed valves, which is a plus.

Then do not have the 20 deg cutouts in the pistons, which should make the 
pads wear wedgeshaped. (which is a minus, although these 2 things 
together make it possible for this caliper to fit either side.)

They do not have the compensating pins in the bores which all the OE 
calipers came with. (I like to see these here, but I'm not sure why.)
