Good point, but how this happens exactly depends completely on what you 
use for your email software. For example, I use and recommend Pegasus 
Mail and it has no "Reply All" option. Instead I pick "Reply" and then I get a 
popup box where I get to check which addresses to include.

Toby and I are in complete agreement about duplicate replies being 
redundant and annoying.

And while we're at it, let me add my monthly reminder to everyone to 
remember to use your delete key to get rid of excess quoted material before 
you send replies back to the list server. Now that Greg has the archive 
search engine working again, it should be clear that excess quoting can 
generate excess false "hits" in a search. So it benefits all of us to keep our 
replies concise.
