I'm not sure if this will work as well, since you'd be measuring different things. The Uni-Syn responds to air flow thru the carb. While manifold vacuum changes with airflow, at idle I don't think it changes very much, so I'd be concerned that it would be hard to get them set very closely this way. I have an extra Uni-Syn here that I'd be willing to sell. What are they worth?
