<x-charset iso-8859-1> I have been fiddling around trying to balance my carbs perfectly and have them pretty good I think, but would like to get a proper tool to get them really perfect. I have tryed to get an Edelbrock Uni-syn tool but there seems to be some difficulty getting them in the UK. I know where to get one of the metal rod in tube manometer type balancers as used on motorcycle carbs but we don't have vacuum take-offs on stock carbs. I was wondering if it would be possible to disconnect the balancing tube and use the outlet from the Y connector as a vacuum take-off for balancing. In my theory this would seem better than using the uni-syn method as it would have less effect on the mixture (no obstruction to the venturi). Anyone know or have an idea if this should work?
