(I think). Right, as long as you also remove the shaft, and the bearings. You have to remove the bearings or they might fall in the engine later. OTOH, if you do a good job with the rest of the engine, you won't need extra breathing. And if you do a bad job, this probably won't be enough. I should also add that the standard breather has special provisions that separate oil mist from vapor so that you don't lose oil with your breather vapors.
