My God, what have I done? Any chance this is a 72? If so (actually for any year), when you get in the car and turn the key ON you will hear a relay click and then another click ~1 second later. Do you hear both clicks? If not, then there is a wire improperly connected on your starter which is making your engine run rich. Let me know. I can tell you what to do to fix this easily. - ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web!
