RE: [T3] Yes, the subject is lowering a type3, AGAIN.


 Jonathan, On my Notch I went 2 splines inner for about a 2.5" drop, on my 
wife's fasty I went 2 splines outer for about 1.75" drop. I think the inners 
relate to about 1.25"/ spline while the outers relate to 3/4to 7/8" /spline. 
I'm not real sure what it really is though. I would have the floor jack under 
the lower control arm when you do this, unless you leave the shock attached 
as it acts as a limiting strap. But the shock still needs to be removed to 
lower the lower control arm. When I did mine I did it a little differently 
than what I've read since then, and that is I take the big nut (30mm)off the 
ball joint instead of the stud end(the smaller thru bolt). This works a 
little better as you don't have to worry about snapping off the hardened 10mm 
bolt that holds the lower part of the ball joint on. Hope this helps you out.
