Any makers to avoid? I had fair luck recently with TMI for seat covers. They weren't absolutely perfect, but they were made to the correct dimensions to fit just like the original covers fit. You will want to save the heavy wire reinforcements in the old covers and re-use them in the replacement covers. That way, you can put the seats back together like the originals. Don't use hog rings. I re-used the original horsehair pads after adding a little bit of additional horsehair padding I got from scrapped seats. I put pieces of carpet remnants between the springs and the horsehair to keep the padding from working into the springs again. -Mark Fuhriman ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list or mailto:help@vwtype3.org </x-charset>
