If not, add one between the coil 15 and the ignition feed, and (if you like) put a hot link direct to the coil 15 terminal from the starter solenoid wire. That gives extra spark just at start-up. The Bosch red coil was designed to have an external ballast which could be bypassed for starting - quite a few Type 3s here had them fitted to help in damp weather. I could have done with one on occasions. Dave.
