I guess I got caught up in all the advertising about 40k volts..... flame
thrower.... extra spark...    Is there any validity to these claims?

I am wondering if my car will perform any better with a Bosch Blue coil
(German) or a Pertronix Flame Thrower to go with the Pertronix pointless
ignition I just bought VS. the old Black Bosch that I have now and am using.

  Anyways, I did find a good site on the Mexican coils which explains that
some do have the 3 ohm ballast resistor and some don't, regardless of
whether or not it claims to on the sticker.
