The wiring at the bumper end sounds about right, but that wire from the coil should go forward to the front of the MT where it is switched to go back to both backup lights. If one light is working, you need only concern yourself with why the other one doesn't. Likely possiblities are poor contacts to the bulb or lack of a good ground connection, either at the bulb or between the housing and the bumper. The best way to test for this kind of thing is to use a voltmeter and follow the power trail. Your one functioning light proves that the power trail is fine up to that point. - ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe? mailto:type3-request@vwtype3.org, Subject: unsubscribe
