Hello all,
Just wanted to introduce myself to the list. I am the proud owner of a
1970 Fi equipped rust free fastback. Which brings up my question. In the
front of my friends square and on the fastback are two plastic ducts. They go
straight through the tire well ect. On my friends there just there doing
absolutely nothing we can figure out. Except maybe aid in cooling the brakes?
On mine there is a piece of pipe that is behind the bumper. It has been bent
to go through each hole making like a U. Is this some kind of bumper
reinforcement or some dark sided tow bar ect? It fits behind the bumper well
and doesn't seem to bother anything. And if it is someone add-on, then why or
what for. They would have had to remove the bumper and have it custom bent to
fit! Another question. It has rear popouts and I cant seem to find any
rubber for the popouts. Is this hard rubber to find? Thankyou all for any
