This could be possible, and if so you may want to go thru the right carb
again. I do know where you got 2.5 liters from though, as the VWtype3 owner's
manual says it should be "filled with 5.3 U.S.pints of oil (4.4Imp. pints) or
2.5 ltrs, and it also says that 1 pint = .4 ltrs, which would mean that you
should only put in 2.12 ltrs (5.3x.4=2.120). I think their conversion tables
must be a little off. I know that when I do an oil change I take 3 qts of oil
out to the car and use 2 1/2 in the engine and part of the rest for the
aircleaner, leaving a little left over for my oil can to lube other parts of
the car.

You could try CIP1.com, or Bill and Steves, or West Coast Metric, but it'll
probably cost too much to ship to Israel. Right off hand I don't know who
ships overseas or not. Not to mention the cost of shipping might be higher
than the part. I hope this helps.
