Robert come on now. We cant live in la la land when selling a car. If a car has personal value to an individual and the price is raised accordingly then the seller never meant to sell in the first place. I am talking about going fair price. Little back ground. I have a less than 50k mile, original, unrestored, sunroofed, original paint and rubber bueaty of a 63 notch. Im talking 85% mint here. I paid $4500 for it and had it shipped from Germany. All in all I spent less than 6K. I can definatly sell it here for 10-12K on a good day, unrestored correct mind you. I am in the middle of restoring my 62 notch. It will not be 100% correct but the things on it that are not correct should not be noticed by the average bug and bus show-going retard. When all is said and done with it I estimate its selling value at around 8k if I dont drive it and mess it up. Sorry I want to know how much a thing should cost, not tacked on with fuffy atachment. Dont get me wrong I love my cars and dont plan on ever selling them, but if I do Ill know fair market price! late -jason ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rob Carpenter" <brnagn7@yahoo.com> To: "Type 3 Mailing List" <type3@vwtype3.org> Sent: Sunday, December 22, 2002 4:01 PM Subject: [T3] Over priced ? or perhaps just rightly priced? > I know we have seen a lot of parts/ and cars priced as > far as Heaven.
