I know we have seen a lot of parts/ and cars priced as far as Heaven. But lets consider pricing our cars, what is your cars value to you? Sure they sometimes give us trouble when we neglect to adjust the adjustable, but they are still timeless pieces of German Machinery that most VW people envy. We drive the cars that were never truly the Peoples Car. Most people are afraid to part with their beloved car, and will place a sentimental price tag on it hoping (in their heart of hearts) that no one will really buy it. (unless of course the sentimental price is met). I know when my notch is done, and if and when the time comes to sell it I will try to be reasonable, but I will also consider the rarity of the car, so I could fairly price it at 8K and if no one bought it then I drive it for years and let it get its fair share of nicks etc, and never drop below 4K or I would simply never part w/ her. Especially since I have put ALL the Blood Sweat and Tears into it personally, how can I place a value on that, I've help put History back on the road!! So the next time we see an overpriced car lets consider it sentimental value, and should appreciate it, and the value of our cars, rather than knock it.
