I see what you guys mean about 2nd gear, now. Today, I took out my
fasty since the weather wasn't to bad and I wanted to give her mid-winter
run, she has been sitting for a few months. So I put her in 2nd and was
able to accelerate past 50mph easily, I just did it for a second to see how
the tranny operates. This gives me hope for my Square. I think once I
perform the tune up etc, I will be in a better position to judge the
trannies worthiness.
I felt bad for my fasty ;( its sad to see her all banged up, but she
started right up after reconnecting the battery. I took her on nice drive
and gassed her up for the rest of the winter.
