I got my car back from the body shop not long ago, as I mentioned in a previous post, and I was sitting in my car ... dreaming ... last night and I decided to try the sunroof (which has always worked great before). I started to crank a little, and noticed a lot more drag than usual and heard an aweful sound... like sand. I guess what happened is that some sand and sand like material (from sandblasting/beadblasting) made its way into my sunroof. I opened the sun roof a little bit and was able to verify that. Now my concern is to how to get all that crap out of there. Should I take a vacuum and try to suck it out, compressed air and blow it out? Any suggestions? I'm sure this is going to be painful, especially if sand got into the inner workings of the sun roof and into the grease. Let me know what I need to do. Hopefully you guys will have some good news for me...
