[T3] Gen/VR trouble

<x-flowed>  Did you try pressing in on the brushes? Did it have any effect?
I did, and all i got was pressure noise with no change.

The voltage on the battery starts at above 12 after a fresh charge, and 
will stay there if i don't run the car, but as soon as the symptoms show 
up it quickly drains down to 8, hovers, then continues to drop. I 
usually shut it off at the 8 and then get just a starter click if i try 
to restart.
