<x-flowed>well, after a complete tear down and build up of the generator on my 
square, i have 14.7 volts of juice at 2k rpm and higher.   i have found 
though, that some of my generator parts are on their last legs.  my 
brush springs were so brittle that they snapped under the lightest of 
manipulation.  so, i had to build a temp for one of them.  that was fun 
(NOT).  anyway, i want to thank martin, earthman, jim and keith for 
their willingness to part with a generator if needed.  and just for good 
measure i went ahead and put in a fresh voltage regulator (old one is 
now the spare).  thanks all!  live long and prosp...no wait... luke i am 
your father.  yeah, that's better!
