What I was talking about here was JUST the right angle ends. The OE right angle
ends screw onto the wire and can be reused indefinitely. The new ones you got
are a single use item and not nearly as nice.

I have some good used ends, but I want TWICE as much for a set of 5 as you
probably paid for your complete modern SP wire set.

BTW, if you get a wire set with just straight (not right angle) ends the wires
will wear against the underside of your engine lid. The end result will be
twofold: You'll wear thru the insulation under the lid, and the wire insulation
will eventually wear thru and short out. Early type 3s had shorter
distributors, however, and could get away with this.

Somebody confirm this for me: Is it true that some carbed type 3s still came
with the right angle connectors even though the dist was shorter? Or did they
all come that way? Or did none of them come that way? If only some got these,
when did it start?
