Good points (all), a little too much caffeine in the morning can play hell with the rest of the afternoon! :~) I should have been more specific about the contact cleaner (which admittedly is overkill, and not really on my normal 'to do' list unless troubleshooting) I use the non-lubricated stuff that won't leave the residue for cleaning power tube sockets (audio speak..).
