[T3] gen/VR trouble

<x-flowed>well, my brushes are making good contact, though i could use one new 
brush spring, and i am not getting any arching.  but, i found that 
somewhere along the line the the throttle cable touched the armerature. 
i wonder if this FRIED the generator?  if so, anyone got a good 12v 
used one?
