I'd say buyer beware, but > of course, Here's my gripe about ISP West, and one reason I wouldn't trust their ads / auctions. I sell Speedwell UK BRM's, and they sell Flat 4 BRM's I don't have a problem with that, but it seems they do. Every chance they get they like to point out "flaws" in the wheels I sell. My favorite is this quote........... "NOTICE THESE ARE NOT THOSE CHEAP ENGLISH REPRO'S WHEELS WITH THE WEIRD OFFSET & YOUR TIRES RUB, THOSE ARE NOT D.O.T. SAFETY CERTIFIED NOR APPROVED FOR HIGHWAY USE!!! THOSE ARE DULL FINISHED, SCARY & RUN AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!" The "weird" offset they claim is the same as an EMPI 5 spoke. Hardly weird in my book. Last time I checked the wheels made in Japan weren't D.O.T. approved either, and when I asked Anthony at ispwest about this I got no response, so my guess would be, no the Flat 4 wheels aren't D.O.T. approved either. However the UK has much higher standards than we do, so I'm not worried about my wheels failing. I drive them everyday........... Dull finish? Not sure what his means, but side by side the wheels finish look the same. A good example of preaching to the uninformed so they will see your way as the right, and only way instead of one of many ways. I'd have to 2nd the buyer beware!!
