[T3] engine noise still a mystery

<x-flowed>I posted 2 or 3 months ago about an engine noise.  No noise at idle, but 
when the engine revs up a little bit, it sounds like two pieces of metal 
banging on each other.

When I posted previously, a couple of you speculated that it might be a nut 
or bolt that had come loose and was getting picked up and hitting against 
the fan.  Today I finally got my fan housing apart, but there was no loose 
metal in there.

Any theories that I can prove or disprove would be most appreciated.
