[T3] poor emissions new update
<x-flowed>well, i have cecked the distributor advance mechanisms, and both look fine
the drive shaft move about 15d then snaps back just fine.
the pressure is right at 30psi at idle and under load.
the temp sensors measured 3230 ohm (head) and 318 ohm (air) at an outside
temp of 60 (but my car is in a garage)
voltage is steady at 14.25V at 2500 rpm.
timing is still fine.
therefore i have not adjusted anything since my car failed emiisions the
second time. any ideas?
my father thought i might be able to put a potentiometer inline to the head
sensor to trick it into thinking its colder and leaning out the mixture (or
which ever way makes it leaner). this of course would only be temporary, and
emission folk did'nt even know that the engine was in the back, so i doubt
he would notice.
im out of options. thanks, i hope
c
