<x-charset iso-8859-1>Matthias=> 67 fastback ... I agree it sounds like your timing could be way out. Once you've confirmed that it's OK, you'll want to start looking at the fuel system. Is this a dual-carbed engine? If so you have several factors to check and some tuning to do, in any case. => i noticed that the vac on the dist. is corked off, In which case, if it's a vacuum-only distributor, it won't advance at all. There should be a spring on the advance plate to hold it at zero advance. Other than missing parts, extreme wear and dirt, there's not a lot that can go wrong with a distributor. You'll be much happier with the stock distributor compared to an 009.
