Re: [T3] sound deadening board

Hello there-

We have tried two different alternatives to tar board- recycled tire
rubber garage mats, about 1/3" thick. They smell for a week or two, but
are nice insulators. I have used dynamat as well, but wasn't as
impressed as I expected I would. On the other hand, dynaspray (or
similar sprays) work well and can be painted over so that they don't
attract water, and it works pretty well, but pricy nonetheless.

Take care,
