<x-charset windows-1255>There have been a number of vechicles I have owned over the years without chokes, or in the case of my 68 Triumph Spitfire MKIII chokes that are just too much trouble to usem (dual side-draft SU variable venturi carbs). I personally havent ever had a problem starting a car without them. Sure there is a little hesitation, and other quirks without chokes. We own 40'ish year old cars though, I would suspect that if you are a person that minded a few extra quirks in the car you would definitely not own something that old :) > So, what do you Californians, Texans and Australians do? Should I use the > chokes or leave them open all the time? ------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <type3-off@vwtype3.org> For more help, see http://vwtype3.org/list/ </x-charset>
