There's no way that you can electrically insulate the plug body from the head with a paste that you smear on the threads; there will always be plenty of metal-metal contact. The non-conductivity becomes useful when you screw the plug in the second time and accidentally get a tiny dab on the SP insulator. A bit of normal anti-seize on the insulator will rather quickly render the SP useless, but the Moly-kote has no effect. Contamination of the central insulator during installation is inevitable, so it's best to use something there that is not a conductor. - Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ------------------------------------------------------------------- Too much?
