I'd have enjoyed watching / passing wrenches on the engine build, but it
would be safer to have it together, checked out and run-in before I get
there or we may be pushing it to Parma!  The most  engine work I've done was
putting new heads on.  I had to flatten a boss and drill/tap it for the CHT
sensor, so it wasn't just bolt-on work, but not much more.  Our mileages are
generally less than in the USA, so the engines are often not too bad, but
the bodies are rougher.
