<x-charset iso-8859-1>DAnielB=> It appears to have been timed => to approx 10 degrees BTDC, whereas => all the books say it should be at timed at TDC. Considering the stone-age hacks, it'll probably take a little more investigation to determine stock specs for your specific engine, which might've come from anywhere. 10 BTDC is about where mine is timed, for altitude. What's your engine number? And which distributor? => should I mess with it? I'd strongly recommend using a strobe with an advance dial o get it dialed in. => where is the clamping bolt for the distributor? A Type 3 clamp would be under the diz body on its left, pointed to the rear of the car. In any case it's under there somewhere.
