If the stuff does not adhere PERFECTLY to the surface it is sprayed on, then it will allow moisture underneath, where it becomes trapped. Then we all know what happens. My father has been a profesional auto body repairman in eastern Canada for 40+ years and he will NOT use this stuff anywheres where water cannot just harmlesly run off. Even if the stuff does adhere right off, over time it will loose it's bond and trouble begins. It's kind of what like Keith said about his doubts about POR-15 adhereing perfectly, only this is proven with rubberized undercoating. If I had a dollar for every floor pan my father and I replaced due to this crap, ....let's just say my Fastback would be pretty cherry right about now. The stuff would appear intact and as soon as it was scraped up, the dammage to the floor pan was VERY evident. If your car will absoloutly leak NO water onto the interior floor pan, it may be ok, but if any doubt exists, I personally would not use it. Again, this is just my opinion based on experience, the final decision is yours to make. Just my $0.02 Marc 1967 Fastback Is your boss reading your email? ....Probably Keep your messages private by using Lycos Mail.
