RE: [T3] Crankshaft Specs...???

<x-charset windows-1252>OK.....I checked the digital caliper that I borrowed from the Lab at work to take these measurements. I used a 50mm gage block and measured 49.93mm. Makes up for most of the error in my measurements. Looks like the cranks is in good shape. The journals look good, no scoring, still nice and shiny. Cool!

I just assumed that the 0.10mm under was just normal wear on a crank with 70k miles. Never thought to check the measuring tool. Thanks for the advice.

I did ask Berg about welding CW to my crank. $150, but only done when ever they get to the next batch of cranks, so it might not be too timely. Can the stock crank be dynamically balanced or is this pointless? For a daily driven, basically stock engine, is tha CW crank really worth $150? How's that for a loaded question?
