<x-flowed> >Should I un-plug all injectors so that the spray can be seen - switch on >engine (but not start) and move throttle -observe spray - rotate engine 180 >degrees and then repeat. This is exactly what I did to make sure that they had a nice spray pattern. I did it first thing in the morning, with a stone cold engine. (hot exhaust + misted fuel = bad) I dont think that the Bently gives a procedure for this at all, but in one of the D-jet articles I have there is a procedure for testing all your injectors. Basically you remove the injectors from the intake manifolds, all 4, retain electrical and fuel connections. Have 4 indentical containers. Put the injectors in the containers. Get someone to crank the car while you look at each injector. Make sure that each injector has a nice spray pattern. The car is cranked long enough to get a decent amount of fuel in the containers. You then check to see if the level in each container is the same. I beleive in the procedure I read the author weighed each container empty, then again after the fuel was in it.
