Greg asks: Did you get that free '68 that was in S.F.?? --> no I never caught that one. I picked up a 71 with no engine from a guy in castro valley. I was looking for a roller that didn't need as much body work or anything restorable that I could work on while I drive the other one around and of course something with parts. It didn't quite meet the body criteria but he made me an offer I couldn't refuse. So now I will be evaluating the two. Unfortunately, I think it's pan from this car, body from that car. I'm going to review both this weekend, document the damage with some pics and see what everyone thinks... Carrie asks: And if so can I PLEASE have the passenger side pan?! :) --> Once I'm done with it, I'll will be trying to give away all of the remaining pieces. I'd hate to see good pieces go to the dump. Unfortunately, a good passenger side pan will probably not be one of those peices. Sorry. :( One has 4 holes (and the rust associated with them) from the PO bolting honda seats through the floor. The other is rotted through at the battery tray. I can't wait to get this started!!! What a summer it will be.
