I agree. I asked Lee Hedges of the Type34 register about this
about two years ago. There don't seem to ever have been any fuel
injection Type34s made. I do not understand why. The first markets
to get fuel injection for normal Type3s were Switzerland as an option
and USA/Canada as mandatory in August 1967. The Type34 always
sold relatively well in Switzerland but, it seems, nobody paying for an
expensive Type34 in Switzerland ever seems to have had it delivered with
the fuel injection option. Or, did VW not offer this option with the Type34s?
And, while the Type34 was never marketed in the USA, I understand,
the Type34 was sold in Canada. Or, were Type34s not sold in Canada
during the 1968 and 1969 model years?

Does anyone know?
