One little further factoid. There were no fuel injected Type 34s ever
produced, so all automatics had dual carbs. On the other hand, there were
very few Type 34 automatics made. Have you ever seen any exact figure Simon?
Noone at the Type 34 Registry knows exactly how many were made, but if (as I
read somewhere) the ratio of manuals of automatics was the same as the other
Type 3s, about 10:1, then there could only have been 200-300.

Also, I can't help thanking God that my car doesn't have fuel injection! I
know there are many list members who won't agree with this, but getting the
beast going sounds like a complete nightmare! The large percentage of posts
on this list that have to do with FI problems certainly make me very
relieved that I'll never have to deal with it!
