what is the most likely place for an oil leak from the engine, excluding the strainer cover. i have quite a bit of oil coming from the tins and out onto the ground. i would say that it might be a quart a month or so. i am thinking pushrod seals, or pushrods. do i have to remove the heads in order to change them? or should i just buy some of those spring loaded ones, if they are good. assuming this is the most likely cause of the leak, it also appears that the oil filler neck is leaking right at the block. i have seen that there is a tool to aid in re-bolting this item back in once you replace the seal. is it imperative or can i just measure and bolt it back up best i can? thanks nathan 1970 fastback ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list or mailto:help@vwtype3.org
