<x-flowed> >First problem, throttle does not close all the way without pushing > >alittle. Loosen the throttle cable a little bit, that should take care of it not closing all the way. Is the throttle retun spring in good condition? >Second problem, Bentleys says to adjust the throttle switch rotate it >CCW >until you hear a click then 2deg further. Mine clicks when >rotating CW but not CCW This from when I recently did mine. The throttle rotates CCW, so you need to rotate the switch CW to hear the click. This is what I did. First, ensure that the throttle is all the way closed. The I had the key on, and moved the throttle position switch CCW a little ways, I then moved it back CW until I heard a click from the injectors firing. I then rotated the throttle switch back CW 1 or 2 deg, and tightened it down. I then checked it by openening the throttle, again with the key on. The first click of the injectors happens just as you crack the throttle a little. There is supposed to be a total of 20 clicks (injectors firing) from full closed to full open. >Tried to set the idle to 950 but is would not >go above about 850rms. I set the timing to 5 BTDC connected hoses. Sounds familar, mine wont adjust above 850 either.
