[T3] more on seats... I know you've been through this Toby

Hi all,

In the process of rebuilding the seats on my '67 (I
opted for seats from a '68 - highbacks) I've been able
to removed the shaft that adjusts the seat backs -
thanks Jim - by "drifting" the pins out with a drill
bit and a hammer. Now I'm genuinely stuck.

I'm now trying to get the operating mechanism in the
seat back off so as to transplant it to my old seats.
The donor seats have cracked frames, the seats I'm
rebuilding have no mechanism in place (removed by the
previous owner) therefore, I can't keep them in the
old seats. I can't figure out how to get the
lever/handle off the seat back and I can't figure out
how to get the cable disconnected from the pawl at the
bottom. Anyboy have access to a blow up drawing or
better yet, experience doing this.

Thanks to everybody for making this a great resource
for us all.

Eduardo.
