RE: Volkswagen Enthusiast Program - protecting yourself

<x-charset iso-8859-1>Words used as trademarks depend on context.

"Bug" in the context of automobile, Volkswagen wants everyone
to think of them, and of course "bug" in the context of secret
agents means something else entirely.

This website is great for determining show has trademarked
a word or phrase and in what context. Leave it to the
bureaucrats to codify all of these contexts.

Interesting reading the entries for 'bug'. It was registered
in 1959 by Bug Engineering. VW's reference to 'bug' is still
pending. I wonder what a legal eagle would have to say about
VWOA attempts to shut down bugstop, with this in mind.

When did VW start to use the term 'bug'?

Type 3 brings up no Vehicle reference, neither does type III.
Go for it! Get it trademarked yourself!
