[T3] 'Rock Star' square, pricing theory ?


>From the chain of news regarding the casting/ebay
listing of this squareback, 
I see where this owner might have thought they could
get this kind of money for the car.

As I see it, the movie company told her, this car was
second choice, but the other car was selling for 
(Inserting Sonya's statement -my husband refused to
part with it so he priced it high.  I think all of us
here understand)!

Hearing how much someone else wanted for their VW made
them want to sell it, 
plus cashing in on it's new fame as a movie star! 
(Isn't the movie about fading fame and fortune).  

Just another example of a market rumor creating a
false high price, (have we learned anything from the
tech bubble burst.) 

No bid's at $5500.
