JimS=> How hard was it to convert? It's a project, but as conversion projects go it's not particularly difficult. You'll need a late Typ3 MC, which bolts right up, new hardlines for the front brakes, new hardlines for the reservoir, about a foot of blue brake hose, and a new reservoir -- I used a late Typ3 reservoir as well, but any dual-circuit model will do, depending on where you decide to locate it. (Some people are getting by using the original reservoir, but this ultimately defeats the purpose of the dual master.) I put mine on the back wall of the front boot, more or less directly above the MC, and ran the new lines down through the wheel well and diagonally to the rez. Shortest run, least body damage.
