When I started working for VW in 1964, VW's sold for about $1 a pound. $1700,
and 1700 lbs. When I quit in 1979, they were up over $10,000.
But, today if you think about it, VW AG, is a much different company. They
own: Rolls Royce, Bentley, Massaratti, Lamborghini, Audi, Porsche, and I
think a few others. The VW, you might say is the bottom of their vehicle line
up.
