I had the SAME problem with my square!!!! I assumed that they 
sent me a fastback seat bottom, or a bug's. I finally sent it back 
and they sent me one that fit. I had assumed that this was a one 
time mistake, but it sounds like there is a larger problem.

I might even have some OE covers that are shot, but which might 
serve to make patterns from.
