Another oversight was that on 72-3, there should be a separate rear panel on the rear seat bottom. The seam here needs to be interrupted leaving an open slot for the release strap which those years had. Are you listening, John? If you think you can get TMI's attention, I once wrote up a careful description of proper type 3 seat covers. Do you want a copy if I can find it?
