No No. I'm talking about the top of the rear seat backrest (fastback model). What I described is the way the way the rear backrest cover is anchored to hold the tension. OEM had a stiff cardboard-like strip to fit under a steel lip in back of the upper part of the backrest. The thin plastic strip on my TMI cover did not even come close to doing the job. Hard to describe. This flaw is something that needs to be considered if somebody wants to recover the rear backrest like OEM did. Save the OEM cardboard strip from the old cover and sew it into place on the replacement cover. Remember I'm talking about the fast/notch. A minor annoyance since I don't have to see it. And only my kids ride in the back, and they certainly don't notice.. My kit also come with a rear seat bottom cover (which I haven't installed because my OEM cover is still OK). The front side of the skirt on that cover has a tacky vetical seam. The OEM skirt is smooth all around the front. I wonder why, with all the attention to other details to get the fit and look right, TMI can't improve just a few details that should be easy to correct.
