That should be fine and it will work fine as long as it can maintain 
the 30psi pressure.

Check the flywheel hub for roughness that would eat away at the 
seal. The seal has to be square in the bore in order to have a 
chance to work correctly: There is a step at the bottom of that bore 
that the seal is supposed to be driven in against. That will 
automatically put it in square with the shaft.
