jim is right the type4 swap isn't as straightforward as you think. if you ahve the 914 shroud and tins your already one step ahead. you will need a type4 flywheel, a way to modify the air intake bellows at the back of the engine(oblong bellows into round hole), a rear engine support bar and extra trans mount are also a good idea. if you have the d-jet and the computer from the 914 it should clear the engine lid. if your gonna run carbs dual IDFs or DRLAs are a good choice and FAT performance makes manifolds to make these fit in a type3 that has a type4 engine and still clear the engine lid. __________________________________________________ Terrorist Attacks on U.S. - How can you help?
