 I am sorry i didn't give you a good explination...
behind the quarter window the pillar that forms the
"fastback" in between the quarter window and the rear
window...on both sides...not sure if that helps
much.... on bugs there is a real problem with rust
forming there(on bugs called the c-pillar)...and on a
fasty there are drains that are facing up..so rain can
get down there i figured it would be a good place for
rust to hide...and rust from the inside out. and since
there is foam inside there i know that isn't a good
place to have water getting in at, since foam just
makes it worse.

thanks for the tip i will check it out.

right now i have NO "Rear end" on the pan(well a
little more than just the pan..sills...repaired front
end...)so i would be able to lift the front end up and
not have to worry about the engine(if it was in the
car) or rear end/apron hitting the ground....p.s. it
is still rolling around and accesible...i will soon
get pictures of my rustoration on my website....i have
to pick them up today...
